About Mt Cho Oyu Expedition in detail:

Mt. Cho Oyu Expedition is one of the best of the expedition amongst the 8 of the highest peaks of the world located in Nepal. Climbing Expedition on Mt. Cho Oyu from the Tibet side is regarded as one of the most straight-forward to climb and with the highest rate of success than any other eight thousanders, the peak expedition is the most popular one in its kind. The mountain climbing is generally labeled as of non-technical nature but still requires a good climbing skill and physical strength.

The trip to the expedition starts with a drive from Kathmandu then to Zhangmu (2300m) and Nyalam (3750m) and some acclimatization before drive to Tingiri (4350m) and to Base Camp elevating at 5000 meters. The drive will be a very rough drive with jerking and bouncing leading along the grassy plains heading to the Chinese Base Camp. The Base Camp serves as the best point for acclimatization for our next trip to the Advance Base Camp at 5700 meters where we look forward for the favorable situation for the expedition.

The higher we go; we camp in three further camps. The first one at 6400 meters where we reach through the Gyabrag Glacier. The second one is at 7200 meters to which we pass through the hardest section of the trip comprising of 50 meters of wall and the third one at 7400 meters demanding the real determination needed to deal with the altitude effects.
