About Muktinath Darshan Tour in detail:

Muktinath Darshan Tour is the package designed to visit one of the holiest place in Nepal revered by both Hindu and Buddhist in thousands of numbers yearly in a hope to receive mokshya (salvation) from the cycle of birth and rebirth. Muktinath, meaning the Lord of Salvation, is situated at the base of Khatanga Kang in Baraha Gaun in the district of Mustang in the North Central part of Nepal, with about 110 Km from Pokhara and 20 km Northeast of Jomsom at an altitude of about 3800 meters from the sea level. It also serves as a gateway to Mustang from Manang in famous Annapurna Circuit Trek route. The holy pilgrimage place at Muktinath is in a grove of treed and includes Buddhist Gompa and a Pagoda style temple of Lord Vishnu, naming the place Muktichhetra (Place of salvation) and serves as one of the four biggest and most important religious site with the area rich in Shaligram (Ammonite) also considered as incarnation of Lord Vishnu by Hindu and worshipped. At an elevation of 3710 meters, the site offers stunning views of the magnificent Himalayas. The holy shrine of Muktinath is believed to have rose up on its own harmony amongst seven others; Srirangam, Tirupati, Sri Mushnam, Thottadri, Naimisaranyam, Pushkaram and Badrinath and also considered to part of 108 Baishnavas found here.
